By accessing or using L2 Market you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms; your continued use after a posted change means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above tracks the most recent revision.
Trademark notice
L2 Market is an independent listings board operated by its publisher. L2 Market is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NCSOFT®. Lineage® and Lineage 2® and all related game assets, names, and trademarks are the property of NCSOFT® and its affiliates. Use of those marks on this site is solely for identification of the games and items players list.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use L2 Market, in line with Discord's minimum age. If your local jurisdiction requires a higher minimum age for online services, you must meet that age. You may not use the service if you are barred from doing so by an applicable export control list, sanctions list, or court order.
Accounts
You sign in with Discord. You are responsible for actions taken from your account, including listings you post and trades you confirm. Keep your Discord account secure. Do not impersonate another player, falsify completed trades, or operate multiple accounts to manipulate reputation. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.
What L2 Market is
L2 Market is a player-to-player listings board for Lineage 2 items priced in in-game adena (WTS / WTB), scoped to a specific game server. Adena itself can be listed when it is paid for in items or other in-game value — that is in-game trade. Listings are advertisements only — the trade itself happens in the live game client between you and the other player, with the payment leg in in-game adena.
What L2 Market is not
L2 Market is not a real-money marketplace. We do not host listings priced in real-world currency, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or any off-platform value transfer; we do not facilitate sales of real-money goods or services; and we do not sell virtual currency or items ourselves. We do not hold your items, do not process adena payments, and do not act as escrow. We are not a court and we do not adjudicate in-game property.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: • post phishing attempts, malware links, harassment, hate speech, or sexually explicit content; • violate the terms of service of the Lineage 2 server you play on; • use the service to advertise, solicit, or arrange any form of real-money trade (RMT) — this is unconditional and does not depend on the rules of any individual server. Specifically forbidden: selling adena, items, characters, or accounts for real-world currency, cryptocurrency, stable-coins, gift cards, or any non-in-game value; off-platform payment requests via PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Skrill, Revolut, Wise, Western Union, MoneyGram, Payoneer, bank transfer, IBAN, IRL cash, or similar; • sell, share, rent, or otherwise transfer game accounts or characters for cash or trade; • advertise paid power-leveling, boosting, or piloting services priced in real-world currency (adena-priced services are in-game trade and remain allowed); • post listings for stolen accounts, hacked items, or illegally obtained currency; • circumvent suspensions, ban-evade, or use automated means to scrape, spam, or vote-rig listings, sellers, or reputation; • impersonate moderators, staff, or any other player. We remove offending listings, may suspend accounts, and may report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
Listings
You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings — item, server, grade, enchant, attributes, and price. Submitting a listing you cannot fulfil, or repeatedly cancelling at the contact stage, is treated as bad-faith trading and may affect your reputation or account standing.
Reputation
Reputation is built from confirmed trades — both buyer and seller acknowledge the deal happened. Disputed trades are flagged on both accounts and visible on public seller profiles. Reputation cannot be purchased, transferred between accounts, or restored after sanctions for the rules above.
Disputes
If a trade goes wrong, surface the dispute on the trade record. The counterparty's account carries that dispute publicly until the matter is resolved. We do not return items, refund adena, or arbitrate ownership of in-game property — that is between you, the other player, and the game server's rules.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, repeated bad-faith trading, or to comply with a legal order. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard; deletion anonymises your completed trades so the counterparty's reputation history stays intact.
Disclaimer of warranties
L2 Market is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory, and otherwise — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific listing will result in a successful trade.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, L2 Market and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or in-game items or currency, arising out of your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to one hundred euros (€100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold L2 Market and its operators harmless from any claim, loss, or demand (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your listings or messages, or your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the publisher's principal place of business. Disputes arising out of these terms or the service are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place. Specific jurisdiction will be confirmed at public launch in the deployed terms.
Changes
We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, surface a banner on the site. Continued use after a posted change means you accept the updated terms.
